Not to be too macabre or scare away new residents, but what is the worst accident you have seen or heard about on Houston freeways? And what did you think could have prevented it?

It would seem to me that an insurance company could put a clause in a contract if there isn't one there already. With enough due diligence in vetting renters, I would do it.

Funny but true mollusk, any team (that old) can have a bad century. We may be bad now but I don't think we'll have to wait 4 generations to bounce back.

........That the Astro's aren't in the playoffs this year? We're all disappointed, that goes without saying, but are you surprised? Comparing the Astro's lineup against a team like the Cubs, I can't say that I'm surprised at all.

Father Sarducci......whatever happened to that guy? His was one of the funniest sketches on SNL back in the day. But yes, that is quite a prolific story that has made its rounds on the internet.

Yes OP, but that's what buffer walls are for. Walls between the freeways and buildings adjacent to them. They don't totally drown out the sound but, depending on the material used to build the walls, they can reduce the noise greatly.

I was in a management position for a leading window manufacturer up in Flower Mound, but now I do consulting work in a relevant field down here. Most everything I have done in the past few decades have been building and real estate related.

Could someone let us know when that offer is off the table? It sounds too good to be true, but I could definitely help out in this regard.

Change is a good thing. And the center field distance change doesn't bother me.....it was for bragging rights only. I don't know about you guys but I can't see a 19 foot difference from any vantage point in the park.
