Resuming work on the Ship Channel Bridge along the Sam Houston Tollway will cost Harris County nearly $300 million more, including $50 million to rip out what had been built under what county officials say was a faulty design.

QuoteThe ultimate success of Houston’s encampment strategy could have rippling effects across the country. Cities including Austin and Dallas are seeking to emulate Houston’s program, said Marc Eichenbaum, special assistant to the mayor for homeless initiatives; others, including Denver and Spokane, Wash. are watching closely.

@pokemonizepicIt will be Nova. From one of the Service Operations Meeting back on 11/11, “Request Board authorization for the President & CEO to execute a contract with Nova Bus (US) Inc. for the purchase of twenty (20) electric buses and chargers”. You can look at Nova's website to see what their electric buses look like.

I believe he is a producer on that show, I would think there would be some consistency in character.

I think this all depends on what the convention scene does in this post-covid world. Unless we somehow become a major tourist destination...

- Large spending on infrastructure. There are bridges, dams, subways, etc around the country that are rated deficient.
Well that was quick. Wish it would have been larger but yeah...

Trump's likely to force Mexico pay $$$ for the US/Mexico Border Wall: deport ALL of the 11 million illegal immigrants, aggressively cut the budget including the out-of-control government spending, finally repeal that horrible Obamacare garbage.
I'll go even further: He wins reelection in 2020 by double digits & possibly carrying 35 to 42 states.

I kinda agree with this opinion. Might be a cool thing to take people visiting from out of town or to go see a show. I don't see myself going there on the regular unless it's heavily programmed like Discovery Green.

I think Midtown has enough bars, and Midtown and downtown have enough food courts. Bars and snacks do not a sustainable neighborhood make.
What does Midtown/Downtown need more of?

Thanks @Brooklyn173 I made it out for a bit Saturday evening with several guest after dinner. None of them were aware that this building was being renovated but they really enjoyed the experience and took lots of pictures. Walking around you realize how cavernous the building is and there is the other building on site which I haven't seen any pictures of how it's being developed.
