Downtown Detroit is booming in redevelopment and renovations. My company (former in a few days) does a lot of work on projects in downtown detroit.I just recently went to Detroit this week to gamble a bit at the MGM. Saw a lot of construction, rumors of a 60-70 story tower starting to swirl.

Does anybody have an idea what the LED lighting will look like? I read where it's supposed to be in the east and west recesses of the building. So is that just like a stripe, or something most substantial?
I'd imagine that the LED lights will run down the wings no?

When is this all scheduled to finish
Needs to be complete by Super Bowl week, I assume most if not all should be complete around December or early January

There are some who will say that the Rich don't "give back." Over and over and over again, to me, that is proven false. Much of the green space, arts, and museums we have exist because of the wealthy "giving back." All I can say is "thank you."
That's because unfortunately people want to see the rich literally handing out money to them. It's sad but the true reality. I really hope HISD approves it, I mean why wouldn't they.

Such a great addition but I can't see this project happening with the current state of the economy in Houston. I hope I am wrong though

i wonder if someone in detroit has ever heard the phrase "he doesn't know shit from Shinola".
I live in Metro Detroit. As of late this brand is the city's pride and joy, starting to eclipse The Big 3 somewhat.
