I was just there today, with two cranes drilling and the amount of time they have been drilling they must be coming close to being done with that. 

Well they did drag their feet forever... Or was that time just spent redesigning it? 

Just looked at the web cam and part of the garage is already going up on the piece of land closest to 59. 

^^^ If only TxDot would do the same...

Tell me about it. When I go home from campus (UH) I have to go through the entirety of 290 construction. God those lanes are narrow, it also does not help that I drive a Ram 1500...

project, incorporates a strong amount of workers both day and night.  money talks.....

Do they work on this at night? And just being curious about how many workers are on this project during a day?  

I know this is wood framing but once it is done this should be a good addition to that side of town.

Someone who has construction knowledge can you please answer this. In the webcam I can see these, what look to be massive metal plates they put down before they pour the concrete. Are these just there to support the concrete in the laying down/pouring or are they like massive re-bar? 

And all this time is costing them more and more money.

Very nice looking building in my opinion. But thinking that there will only be 116 units and even with several floors of parking, these must be really big units.

I think the majority of the work left is interior finishes. I haven't seen the building in a couple months but I would assume the exterior is nearly finished.

I totally get that there are just a few small pieces on the outside that are not done and my ocd is killing me

Has the Memorial herman expansion started. Half of the road right in front of the expansion area is closed and there is a lot of construction equipment there. 

Funny I actually noticed this a few weeks

In my opinion the parcel of land where the train is would be a great spot of a boutique office building say 5-8 stories with GFR that would be supported by the hotels and apartments going up near it. It should fit in with the architecture surrounding it and should complement the building that is already on the land. 

The residential tower is very hansom.
