Only thing that comes to mind for me is Lincoln Rd in Miami but I have an easier time seeing that near the Galleria than Downtown

I heard Galveston is an attractive option so they can be closer to their off shore investments.

Sorry for the mistake on the garage. Thanks for the correction Houston19514
I should actually know better since I have a friend who works for Exxon and who I have picked up/dropped off at that garage to get his vehicle. Also because it's the only other downtown structure that connects to the Exxon building via tunnel because of security concerns.

Isn't the building between this new site and 1600 Louisiana the parking garage they bought to support the tower now on hold?

so soon there will be 2 more cranes in this pic?
I'll feed you baby birds...

Took this today while walking downtown. Sounded and looked like a lot of work going on.

Ugh, almost 10 floors lower than their place at ExxonMobile. So much for having my wedding reception there... Maybe they will move back after renovations? Heh
They still have the 2 upper floors distinguished from the rest of the tower in the new renovations like something would go up there
Agreed. Isn’t Hines still enlisting new tenants for 609 Main? Seems like the top two floors of that building would be a pretty neat/iconic place for the relocation if they have to move

Sorry, meant Stewart, thanks for the correction.

Long time reader here but I’ve never posted about anything. This is pure conjecture. Not a rumor or proposal.
With that said, wouldn’t it be cool if Sewell Cadillac built something like the Audi dealership at 59 and Greenbriar? It seems like with the density building up it would make sense and look cool around all the soon to be mid rises around it.
I am just curious about other posters opinion on something like that.
Chevron Tower For Downtown At 1600 Louisiana St.
in Going Up!

I cannot disclose the relationship but I personally spoke to someone who is ACTIVELY working on the tower project from inside Chevron. That conversation took place this year. They echoed what has been said on here wich is cash will be set aside/earmarked at the end of the year.
They stated that unless something drastic happens once funding becomes available the project will move forward.
