Does anyone know what color the building is actually supposed to be? The model makes it appear to be white?

Hopefully it earned me another great photo update. I see they went vertical on the west side of the site today driving back from work.

There are ways to provide for that without cutting the building's front door off from the sidewalk.

Judging by how the Cosmo garage turned out, I'm willing to bet the Randall Davis reality will be much, much less suave than the rendering.

I've been watching the 'reconstruction' of the Mercer over the past few months and have been wondering what in the world is going on. That building is only 10 years old yet they seem to have replaced all the windows and are completely redoing the exterior of the building from top to bottom. Were there issues with the original construction causing the overhaul? Is the HOA footing the bills for (I can't imagine how much that would have to cost, special assessments, etc). Hopefully a resident of the building also cruises this forum and can give some insight.

Hermes is planning to relocate to River Oak District so maybe that where the counter is moving to

Alec speaks the truth.  Being a suburban dweller I'm always happy to see pictures of any kind on all the progress going on around town.  Even if it's just dirt moving.  Thank you to all who contribute...I will always chip in when I have the opportunity.

You all have inspired me. I'll do better as the project goes on.

Well the building went vertical today. There are several steel rebar columns about 14 feet or so in the air attached to the dug up 'rectangles' in the photo above. Driving too fast today to snap a pic, but if I get a red light tomorrow I'll upload a pic.

Sucks to have a north facing unit in the Cosmo now. There are gonna be a lot BHP workers who know too much about the lives and schedules of the residents there.

I live down the street on Post Oak and drive past this site everyday after work. Looks like they're really moving along. They have a good 6 - 8 feet excavated with two small cranes already on site. I honestly have no idea how that building is going to fit on such a small site. It's going to be one hell of a tight parking garage, and if they do widen Post Oak the road is basically going to be in the building's lobby.
