    ^^^ much obliged @houstontexasjack for your prompt response. however, may you please reach out once again to your "partner at the X company" for a more current/recent concept/rendering of the X HOUSTON? as i do recall, once construction began on the X HOUSTON, we really did not receive a more CURRENT concept/rendering. i would love to see this. aren't you curious as well regarding the painted mural parking garage...?

    ^^^ ...says who? as you may attest above, the original renderings/concepts for the X DENVER... illustrated the painted mural style parking garage design. however, the initial as well as current renderings/concepts (that we have all witnessed thus far) for the X HOUSTON... does not indicate any design elements of this particular nature. do you harbor any inside info...?

    ^^^ i saw footage of the NEW HEAD COACH IME UDOKA'S press conference, where the stunning news of the $70mm GALLERIA AREA ROCKETS PRACTICE FACILITY was revealed. actually, it was a (slip-of-the-tongue) via tillman fertitta on the reveal. he also stated that at some point when the organization is ready, "more information regarding the new facility shall be forthcoming". my initial thoughts when he stated "GALLERIA AREA" was that this facility shall probably be located ON or NEAR his POST OAK PROPERTY. should this indeed be the case, then said facility shall undoubtedly become a very exciting and state-of-the-art venue for rockets practices. i cannot wait to see the reveal of the renderings/concepts. great day for rockets...

    ^^^ actually, this is what happens when your have a WHOLE LOT OF MONEY and can actually get things accomplished the right way. additionally, what we do not see here is... get ready for it... VALUE ENGINEERING!

(the initial SUPERTALL concept/renderings were absolutely MAGNIFICENT. a million times better than the current 45x story pronouncement) therefore, i shall not believe it, until i actually see it...

    ^^^ as a PROUD HOUSTONIAN, i couldn't more happier with the PROFOUND SUCCESS of AUSTIN, TX. who on earth, could have imagined that our cute little burnt orange hill country HOME of the TEXAS LONGHORNS, is suddenly becoming a BONA FIDE CERTIFIED MEGALODON? HOOK'EM BABY!

    ^^^ i constantly find it amazing that the MAGNIFICENT and GORGEOUS city of austin, tx, seem to harbor no issues with going FULL THROTTLE with the height of it's new developments. people are already stating that austin, tx, could become the next miami...

    ^^^ i see you, and i can certainly comprehend your sentiment here @tigereye however, my initial statements were never a lesson in HOUSTON SPORTS VENUE GEOGRAPHY. my initial sentiment was, is... always regarding the actual QUALITY, PLANNING, and CONSTRUCTION of the actual VENUES themselves. you have initiated a very eloquent illustration of the GEOGRAPHICAL attributes regarding houston's said venues. however, the geographical or CLOSENESS of the venues inside HOUSTON PROPER, doesn't necessarily mean that these venues are indeed qualitative and world class. their not. IMO, all of our current sporting venues SUCK... except for the SHELL ENERGY STADIUM. the new ownership of SHELL ENERGY STADIUM, harbor no issues with taking the full initiative, and maintaining their respective WORLD CLASS stadium with full qualitative... EVERYTHING. the stadium is simply MAGNIFICENT. brilliant in design, construction, and overall quality... and is obviously aging quite gracefully. now THIS... is what my initial sentiment regarding houston's sporting venues is all about...
