    1) I find it difficult to believe that you've never heard of the "Rainforest Cafe" as it has been very popular for at least a decade. 2) You are of course entitled to your opinion, but don't hate on the restaurant like it's crap just because it's not your style. I don't understand why some people have to go off on certain products as if they're holier than thou. I'm sure there are people everywhere who would think your favorite product or restaurant is crap, but they don't feel the need to tell you all the time. Odd.

    Are you kidding?!? They'll be pissed off about not playing for the national championship for years. We'll be hearing about this for a LONG time. But yes, I think the final rankings are fair based on how the bowl games played out. I think Utah still has the best argument here.

    I think that's pretty accurate, but I bet UT and Utah will be flip flopped. I don't see the coaches from the big conferences ranking Utah as high as they deserve. Oh, I also have to go with the second ranking. I really feel that OU will take care of business tonight.

    Kids love it. Where else can you go and eat in a rainforest? It's nothing like Chili's, you get the thunderstorm every 30 minutes, the animals move, food it ok but you go for the experience. I think it'd be great to have one in the Galleria because you could shop while you wait. It would make the wait much more bearable. We do the same thing with the Cheesecake Factory when that wait gets long.

    Doesn't phase me. They're not our rival. We only care whether the 'horns win or lose. We had a good thing going against LSU back in the 90s but they quit the series on us.

    Not to mention poor decisions in the 4th quarter. The next time I see him hold the ball at the top of the arc and let the shot clock run down before pulling up for a 30% shot I'm going to scream! Again!

    They've already got Deerbrook just south of this area at 59 and 1960. Of course it could use a major upgrade. I hear it's going downhill fast.

    This is great news! I did hear recently that the land was for sale. Had a developer bought it, we surely would've lost a beautiful amenity for the city. Kudos to H-Town for saving this urban jewel!

    They do pay well and their food is dirt cheap. I don't know how they do it. You can easily eat for $5-$6. They often have specials for $3.99. Yes, I'm serious. Then if you have a refill mug, it's $0.50 for any drink in the house (no, they don't serve alcohol). Very, very cheap family establishment. I guess they survive on volume.

    Well this is a BS plan! How do you develop a high speed rail regional plan and not include Houston on the Dallas, SA, Austin lines? It would be a huge waste of money and time to connect Houston into the NO network and not the Texas network.

    If we're truly sticking to suburb vs. exurb then we shouldn't include Sugar Land either. Sugar Land was a town of its own long before Houston stretched out to meet it, unlike The Woodlands which did not exist on its own. Sugar Land would simply be another town much like Richmond, Tomball, and Sealy are today.

    Actually the Ags are down quite a bit from last year at this point. We'll see how they turn out, but right not they're not in the Top 25. They had a quality win over Arizona last week though.

    I think the BCS got it right. Anyone else? I don't know how you could argue against the 2 hottest teams in the country being in the title game. Of course you'll always have the horns who think they should be playing Ole Miss Yep, I said Ole Miss! They're the only team to beat Florida, according to horn logic they should be ranked #1 right now

    First of all, I'm not a Sooner, only a casual fan, hence my objectivity. Something you aren't. It is kinda fun though reading all your angles that "prove" why UT deserves an invite to a game that they already missed out on. The reason you're not getting the sympathy you desire is because most college football fans are tired of mack and the horns complaints, whines, and excuses when they don't end up #1 in the nation every year. Which has only happened once in recent memory, btw.

    Hmm, against the same opponent OU only gave up 21 to Tech whereas the horns gave up 39, hence the rankings. Texas couldn't beat an overrated Tech team that barely beat Baylor in Lubbock.
