Move Over, McMansions

Microhouses are on the rise

When Scott McGlasson, a St. Paul, Minn., furniture designer, bought land for a vacation house on Little Pequaywan Lake, he knew he didn't want to build a large, traditional house like many of those he had seen going up in the region.

Well, it is a MOD; albeit, a MOD trailer home, essentially...

Imagine seeing one of these next to some of those palm harbors, or winnebagoes. Yessireee.

I was looking into getting one of those Romero LV homes about a year back to put on my dads ranch for my sister to live in. My dad pulled the plug on the project because it messed with his intentions to build a tutor style villa on the property. :(

I like the Rocio Romero LV Home Kit too as a second home. Marmol+Radziner have great prefab homes as well, and use higher end products. But they are a little expensive. I'm not too familiar with this Geoff Warner Microhome project.
