Mr. Chenevert
Does anyone know whats going on at the Post Office located at Hadley and Crawford? The building is currently not a public use post office, it is just a distribution center. Looks like they are expanding the building... the east wall has been torn down. The entrance has also been torn down. There is also activity on the south side of the property in the grass... possibly extending the parking lot or putting in another smaller building. Any plans to make this a public use post office?

barracuda
^ x2, I hope so. It always seemed odd that a good chunk of Midtown is serviced by the post office down on Almeda when there was a distribution center right in Midtown.
houston-development
on a somewhat related note, the PO at 401 Franklin is on the market. doubt anything will happen, though...
brian0123
I went ahead and called this place today to find out what is going on. The lady told me that they are just renovating, and will not be a public facility. They will continue to be a delivery place only.
