Highrise Tower Posted September 6, 2021 Share Posted September 6, 2021 Tomball ISD buys former HQ of energy services co. https://www.bizjournals.com/houston/news/2021/09/02/tomball-isd-buys-former-bj-services-hq.html Tomball Independent School District has acquired the former corporate headquarters of BJ Services, which filed for bankruptcy last year. The district used reserve funds available in its general fund to purchase the 571,000-square-foot campus at 11211 FM 2920 for $39.5 million plus closing costs. To cover renovations and upgrades to the campus and several other projects, Tomball ISD Board of Trustees will put a $567 million bond package on the Nov. 2 ballot. The 70-acre campus includes 11 buildings and more than 20 acres for future development. Now known as Tomball ISD's Eastside Complex, the campus will be the largest multipurpose educational complex in the area, the district said.
