Noticed on my drive by downtown that there is a crane with a building going up next to this one.

Is there another being built?

Was in downtown last night and on the corner of Milam and Franklin there was a sign of a new building coming in 2024.

Can't find anything on this?

Went to Post Houston this past weekend and was driving down I45 from the north. Didn't think it would make an impact from this vantage point but wow it definitely adds a presence to the skyline!!

No pic sorry was driving!

its lit up, its hit or miss with 609 sometimes it is sometime its not

1/4th of the crown was lit tonight and it cements Texas Tower as the most stunning addition to the skyline. Even just with 1/4th of it lit. The light was brightest along the very top of the slanted crown along the roof. The light cascades through the rest of the crown and mostly clear glass gently fading towards the bottom of the crown. I was in awe! 
 

Unfortunately I didn’t get pictures because I was driving. 😔 

There's a video on SnapChat map over downtown it shows the light green crown light up, looks awesome

Agree, its a big difference in market Square in the last 5 years.

I think by 2030 downtown Houston will be completely different. Im hoping it happens by the World Cup in 2026

Ill be honest, im still not a fan of the building. Does it look good, yes! Could it have been much better, yupppp!!!
