DJ V Lawrence
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17168544/?GT1=9033Yo, check it. Former Vice President and Internet-Inventor Al Gore has announced a major global concert to help spread attention to the major climate criss. There will be around 100 artists and bands involved, and for the first time ever, this will take place on all seven continents. According to this article, here's a few of the performers..Pharrell, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Snoop Dogg, Lenny Kravitz, Bon Jovi, Paolo Nutini, Sheryl Crow, AFI, Melissa Etheridge, John Mayer, Damien Rice, Corrine Bailey Rae, Duran Duran, Snow Patrol, John Legend, Black Eyed Peas, Akon, Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, Mana, Keane, Kelly Clarkson, Korn, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Ray LaMontagne, Robin Thicke, and Kenna. This will kinda have the same vibe that Live8 had a couple years ago, and will be on July 7, 2007. I don't think the cities have been announced yet, but it sounds like a good and much-needed event.

TJones
Well, that is at least smarter than trying to schedule congressional hearings on the matter, in the dead of winter, and get snowed in while trying to prove your point on Global Warming. Middle of Summer, hell yeah, let a few treehuggers pass out from heat strokes and you will be able to point a finger for sure....."SEE................SEE, look there, she is convulsing from the 95* heat due to Global Warming !" DJ V Lawrence
I think the concert is a good idea for a much-needed cause, but I wonder how many world leaders will be involved with this. Especially with our President and congressmembers, will they listen?
