The clear cutting of cedar and grading of the hillsides to make building sprawlville McMansions possible is ruining San Antonio much in the same manner that our tearing down the Piney Woods is destroying NE Houston.Texas needs to get on the conservation bandwagon ASAP before all avaible green space and public land is spoken for. Heck, Governor Good Hair was even floating the idea of selling state parks to developers. It'll be all gone soon enough if we don't act NOW.My dad has lived near Junction, Tx since 1975. The drive from San Antonio to Junction depresses me now. I used to remember wide open natural spaces right outside of Loop 410 in San Antone but now it's golf resorts, gated enclaves, and strip malls all the way until several miles past Boerne. Sad.
