ProHouston
Ok, this is obviously speculation, but this morning on the Rould and Ryan show on 104 I heard the Celebrity Scoop was sponsored by Virgin Records. Has anyone heard anything about Virgin coming to Houston? I just thought it was odd that they would sponsor a local broadcast without a local store. gonzo1976
Virgin Records is the record label. You're thinking of Virgin Megastores.
Montrose1100
Virgin Records is the record label. You're thinking of Virgin Megastores.I think ProHouston knows the difference. If something was sponsered on the radio it would more then likely be by "Virgin Records", and not "Virgin Megastore". He was asking why the virgin corporation would sponser something (such as the 104 thing) if they don't have any stores, or virgin atlantic flights out of IAH (although they have "continental codeshares").ProHouston - It could just be the whole advertising thing. They could be reaching out to the Virgin Mobile division, or simply getting the name out for another reason. (i.e. a new store location in Houston.) GhostDog
are you sure they weren't talking about Virgin Airlines?
