Metro officials' hope for 30 days without a single MetroRail crash was shattered this week by a fender-bender at the Texas Medical Center.

The collision, number 61 on the 7.5-mile light rail line this year and the 66th since it was completed Oct. 22, 2003, ties the recent U.S. record for one year

It's bad that they are not having as many recks because it will make them think that it is ok to keep building ground level rail, when it could be much better above or below ground.

What the hell are you talking about???!!! I'd rather the smash-up-the-sleek-train marathon come to a stop so that we can turn things around long enough to get more funding for expansion.
