Building Codes For Historic Structures

Preservation Texas and the American Institute of Architects, Houston, will hold the final session of their two-part seminar on building codes for historic structures. The seminar will focus on plumbing, mechanical, electrical and energy codes. Architects will earn continuing education credits for the session.

The seminar will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 17, at the Houston AIA office, 3000 Richmond Avenue, Suite 500. Cost for the seminar and lunch is $40. To register, call Preservation Texas at 512-472-0102. The reservation deadline is Monday, November 15. Attendance is limited to 35 people.
