Houstonian in Iraq
Sounds serious guys. Everyone stay safe. I'm confident that most if not all fellow Houstonians are seasoned vets when it comes to storms and high waters and will see this through as always

Montrose1100
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it sad how we flood with simple rain? Thanks for the info Editor, some of those numbers will come in handy.
The Great Hizzy!
The 10" that some areas received in a span of less than eight hours is no small rain event. No coincidence that it was in those areas where flooding mostly took place. That said, I agree that I would like to see all areas within the city limits equipped with the drainage system to better handle these types of storms. Granted, some storms are too severe for such infrastructure to ever be full proof but the affects of many others could be better withstood.
