The Heights In The Media

Recommended Posts

Hello All ,

hope your week goes well !

I have noticed in the recent month the Heights has appeared in the news and Chronicle

for the following and was wondering is this good media or bad publicity ?

The addition of new restaurants\bars on WhiteOak

Also the new development and tearing down of Bungalow Homes.

Some crime activity along N Main ?

Thank You

We don't live in the Heights but adjacent in Sunset Heights so here's an item:

A woman who owned a beer joint the locals call the "Blue Bar" two blocks south of us on N. Main was murdered along with her brother when her home was invaded one morning at 2:30 AM. So, yes that was bad publicity.

-_-

I don't mind if the news resported is correct but very often the area they refer to as the Heights is not the Heights. It's like anything along Bellaire Boulevard is often referred to as Bellaire.
