They previously advertised a new Galveston development on the sea wall where the Mayflower Motel now is."Because of high demand" that site has been abandoned and the Seahorse Hotel site has been purchased for a larger development according to a letter sent out by the developer on March 28. A good part of the letter is telling about the Flagship Hotel redevelopment near the Seahorse site.
