Or, in my case, a two-mile walk and being lapped by an octogenarian in a Speedo and black orthopedic socks.Next comes a hot-stone massage and a dip in the thalassotherapy pool. That's justification enough, isn't it, for indulging in a Michel Roux-inspired dinner feast -- think quail ballotine, tomato and gin consomm
NYC Texan2
I actually went on the Dreamward on my honeymoon in 1995 . . . It was a new boat, but small at 750 passengers. It was very nice, but attracted a mostly older crowd. My understanding is that both the Sea and the Dream are new names for the old Seaward and Dreamward. To increase their ability to compete with the larger ships, the boats were drydocked, sawed in half and increased significantly in length . . . . thus the 1500 person capacity. This is a great thing as far as vacationing options for people in Texas.
Hunter
About time. Texas has a wonderful access to the sea. I do not see whay it took them so long to get a cruise line here. Can't wait to give them a try.
