Cultural Tourism

How can architecture for cultural tourism portray the country's identity?

Can anyone give me any example / precedents study which related to the above topic?

Thanks.

First thing that popped in my mind when I saw your question was the Effel Tower. It was only built for the World's Fair in the early 20th Century, doesn't signify anything that I know of other than that, yet it's the most recognizable structure and one of the biggest tourist draws in all of France.

Yo Raizaki, can you explain what you meant by architecture for cultural tourism? I want to make sure I'm on the right subject...
