The 6,943-square-foot parcel at 2215 Ashland St is located in the Heights. It sits on approximately 0.16 acres. The property is on the corner of W 23rd St and Ashland St.

On the property are two low-rise apartment buildings. One is located at 2215 Ashland St. The other is located at 2219 Ashland St. According to HCAD records, the buildings were constructed in 1950.

2215 Ashland St recently changed hands.

Wood Lane Partners, LTD acquired the property from BLA Ventures, LLC, according to county records. A warranty deed was recorded to the county clerk's database last week.

Wood Lane Partners is the developer of nearby Hotel Daphne. Located at 347 W 20th St, the hotel is a joint partnership with Austin-based Bunkhouse Group.

A search on HCAD shows BLA Ventures, LLC also owns the adjacent parcels at 408 W 23rd St and 416 W 23rd St.

Does anyone know if Wood Lane Partners will acquire those parcels too? My guess is Wood Lane Partners may have its eye on those properties and maybe others on that block. If the properties are scooped up, I wonder what could be in store? Maybe another Bunkhouse hotel or concept will go up here?

Hotel Daphne is a few blocks away at 347 W 20th St. It may seem this property is too close for another hotel, but there are several Bunkhouse hotels in close proximity to each other in Austin. Also, Bunkhouse is possibly planning another Montrose area hotel near Hotel Saint Augustine at 4110 Loretto Dr (there is a topic about it here.) So, it's possible one could go up here.
