hindesky
"Dominick Lee, a talented chef from New Orleans who made a splash in Houston’s dining scene before leaving during the pandemic, is moving back to open his “progressive Creole” restaurant Augustine’s. Slated to open this fall, Lee’s restaurant will be located inside the Hotel King David, 2615 Riverside, in Third Ward. At Augustine’s, Lee plans to showcase food that builds on his New Orleans-inspired cooking, which was the backbone of the Alligator Pear, the New York City restaurant he helped open as executive chef last summer. In December, he announced he was leaving the well-received Manhattan spot that served dishes such as tempura alligator bites, blue crab beignets and of course, gumbo." https://www.houstonchronicle.com/food-culture/restaurants-bars/article/augustines-creole-houston-restaurant-opening-18644012.php
