I think duplexes remain exempt, but a quadraplex or more would be triggered. Curious to find a good resource explaining it all (tried and failed so far on Google). Curious to know if a quadraplex is grandfathered/exempt unless and until it gets sold, so new owner had better take new requirements into account. Also curious to know the more expensive categories that might be needed to be upgraded etc. And finally curious to confirm a duplex is exempt in all cases.
