Pleak Posted March 14, 2023 Share Posted March 14, 2023 For the past few months there is nighttime construction on IH-69 from about the Grand Parkway to FM 762. This section of the freeway was only completed in the last 3-4 years. They are replacing/moving the high mast lighting along the entire stretch. The new bases are being poured less than 10 feet away from the existing base. Seems like a complete waste of $$ to replace practically brand new lights. Right now they are breaking up the old foundations (right side in the pic). Just find it strange that they are not even five years old. Maybe a bad mix of concrete?
