trymahjong
Our family has been visiting SurfSide Beach since 1966. We' ve been observing the "Beach" (dry land between tide and vegetation) erode and be recharged from dredging sand from under water, for quite a while. It seems ten years or so ago; the recharging of the beach was put on pause by the State till some legal questions concerning public and private beaches was settled. I didn't keep up with that process; only lamented at the amount of beach erosion. I never thought somehow, the outcome would be canceling the idea of ...all Texas Beaches are Public.
