Willowisp Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 It's official. We're finally having our open house along with an Oscar Party on Sunday, March 5th at 5pm. Please RSVP /pm me if you are planning to come so I know how much food to have there. We will serve hor'dourves and everyone can see what we've done with the place. We closed on the house on March 29th, 2005. Restoration began in late April and we moved in in July. It was our goal to make the house livable, more than completely restore it, and I feel mostly satisfied with the results. You're always going to have a nagging regret or 2... Many of the readers of the board were able to get in and see the house while it was for sale, and know what kind of shape it was in... I hope you will all come and see it and celebrate the house that day as it is also around the 50th anniversary of the building of the house so it's also an anniversary party.
