I could have sworn the Naval Hospital and the Veteran's Hospital was the same complex and development. Did one of the plans to build fail? I recently discovered a 1945 map of Houston hospitals and noticed there was indeed (or planned to build) two separate hospitals for both the Naval and Veterans hospitals. What exactly happened here?
