Do You Read An Entire Thread Before You Post?

I realize that many of the topics here have become quite long. There are times; however, when it seems a conversation is derailed by people who have not bothered to read all the prior posts. I've been guilty of this and subsequently embarrassed when I realize that I'm off topic. Do you read an entire topic before you post?

Yes, I do read entire threads. Although, if the thread is something like eight pages long, I will read the first post, then maybe the last two pages to kind of get a feel for where the topic is going.

I try to until a Dallas forumer starts up.

I try to read all of the posts on most threads, but I stop sometimes if they become agonizingly slow and then I read some of the last posts.

unfortunately, there are a couple threads i ignore completely due to length (houston pavilions). other than that, it isn't too hard to read through most of em.

I guess it is harder when you come in late. The longest I usually have to read is maybe 1-1.5 pages, and that is only if I am gone for a couple days.
