Hastings
You have 2 browsers open, Chrome and Opera, and are alternating use between both. Will what you do on one website in Opera show up on the same site in Chrome after you refresh the page in Chrome? Do different browsers "transfer" well? cspwal
It depends on the website and what you're doing on the site. Most sites use cookies, which are individual per browser, to store state data; for example, HAIF will now save a post you've partially typed even if you leave the page. This only works on that browser on that computer though - if you open the same page in a different browser that post will be no where to be found. On the other hand, when you upload a new file to HAIF, you will see that on your other browser. I'm just in using HAIF as an example, but in general anything temporary will only be on the browser your using, while anything more permanent on the server will be available in multiple browsers. Tyson
I have never really understood much about caching and cookies and all that, but the way you explain it seems to make sense to me.
