Subdude
Thanks! That is on my list of places to see. Everyone says it's great. If you want a small taste, the Turkish Festival is going on this weekend at Jones Plaza.
CincoRanch-HoustonResident
Turkey is a nice place, or at least looks like it. What city were you in?

Sooner&RiceGrad
You mean the mosque that was once a cathedral? Yup. That's a winner.
sfatih
You mean the mosque that was once a cathedral? Yup. That's a winner. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is actually not a mosque right now, a museum instead. Hagia Sophia was built in th 6th century by Byzantium as a cathedral, and it was converted into a mosque by the Ottomans after overtaking Istanbul. When the Turkish Republic was founded in the 20th century, Hagia Sophia started to serve as a museum. Just a side note
