innerloop
Good morning. I'm hoping that someone can identify this grass variety for me. It grew up on its own after my Bermuda grass died from lack of light once my bamboo got big. I really want to keep the bamboo so I am looking for a grass that will grow aggressively in the shade, can tolerate the Houston summer heat and preferably is seeded vs. sod. I have had some luck with the low light St. Augustine, but it doesn't grow as much as I'd like. This stuff seems to be happy so I'd like to try it around the other dead areas. Thanks. brijonmang
It looks like Sedge/Nut Grass to me which isn't technically a grass but a weed.
samagon
I would say it's a grass, but that many people consider it to be a weed, as a weed is technically any plant growing where it isn't wanted.
