IronTiger Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 I know the land has been vacant for a while, but around 2002 (and before), it looks like it was a foundry/metal working area of some sort (including a railroad spur that may have linked the 290/UP line with the MKT). I'm not concerned especially of ground/water pollution (most of these companies abandoning these sites do some sort of rehabbing, like the steel plant off of I-10 did), but I'm just curious.
