SpringTX
What things would you do to improve The Woodlands from a planning/design/environmental/infrastructure viewpoint?

KatieDidIt
Stop cutting down the darned trees!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Get RID of the new owners. They are turning this into a Walmart, Walgreens, mass apartment mess. As you drive from 45 to the back you can see the changes that have happened since the original plan of The Woodlands. This General Growth Group is after the almighty buck and seems bound and determined to create another 1960 or Westhiemer. I bet they even let a "boobie bar" in.Oh yeah, and block numbers on the street signs would help too.
bachanon
when the woodlands operating company unloaded it's property management arm (became PM realty or management i think) and changed it's name to the woodlands "development" company, it became apparent that the strict standards would not be regarded as they once had been. as distressing as it is to me, i still love the woodlands, warts and all. george mitchell still has a home here, as do many of the families who helped to establish a new and better hometown (IMHO).
