Purpledevil Posted June 28, 2014 Share Posted June 28, 2014 Information released in yesterday's FCC filings has Roy Henderson selling 99-7 KROY FM Palacios/Bay City to KSBJ for $350K. Nothing has been confirmed as to what programming will be run by KSBJ on the new acquisition, but speculation from the radio boards indicate that this may be the new home of Christian rock/pop "NGEN Radio", replacing KZBJ Bay City at 89.5. KROY's signal, currently at 50 kilowatts, has a construction permit to increase power and height resulting in 100 kilowatts of power and a HAAT of nearly 500 feet. This will blanket Matagorda county, and provide service to most of the immediate coastal areas between Victoria and Galveston, with limited service to the southern and southwestern suburbs of Houston.
