Architecture competition for kids?

Recommended Posts

I don't know if anything specifically but you may want to check with some of the architecture firms in town. Sometimes they will hold design competitions for projects they want to get free ideas on...I know they are mostly geared to college students but it might be worth checking into.

Let us know what you find and what you decide to do.  Most parents do not know how to foster this type of creativity.  He could be a budding engineer, architect, designer; but how to feed that creative monster for youngsters isn't easy.  I know from experience.

Also, there are tours with the local AIA (the first link) that will certainly inspire.

Good luck.
