nativehoustonion
Did anybody go, it was at Hughes Landing off Washington Ave? I live in the upper Kirby District. So I went up Kirby to Allen Parkway, turn left on Waugh and turn right on Washington Ave. The restaurant is before the cemetery where Howard Hughes is buried. I left at 5pm I did not get there till 554pm and is only 3 miles from my house. I know it was rush hour but the traffic was horrible! At the party they where giving away a house. My raffle ticket missed by 9 numbers. So If I was little more late I would have been lucky! With all these high rises and mid rises still going up the traffic will only get worse. The city must do something! I go to HEB off Alabama but I have to go around 3pm and still takes me 15 minutes to get there which is down the block. Does anybody have a solution? LTAWACS
Didn't go. Was it sponsored by HAR?As for the traffic ... maybe a better (and elevated) city rail?
