SkylineView
Does anyone have any additional detail about the intent or focus of the upcoming work on the highway 59 frontage road between Shepherd and Lancashire? Is this a prelude to the ultimate redo of the 59-610 flyovers with ROW adjustments in preparation or a standard re-pave? There was a notice put out in the office I work about it starting in April, but it didn't contain any useful information. All in it appears to be ~$40M. Link below is all I could find. http://apps.dot.state.tx.us/apps/project_tracker/projects.htm?view=cnty&dist=Houston&cnty=Harris

For a comparison, TxDOT is planning to repave 59 between 610 and BW8 with an asphalt overlay, and the price shown is close to $4,000,000.
