ingleberg
Lot clearing has begun on the SE corner of Westpark Tollway at Peek. Any idea what's going in?I found this... looks like maybe a Stripes on that corner, but I can't tell for sure: http://www.loopnet.c...ay-Richmond-TX/
GrandLakes
Drove by this yesterday. It is definitely a gas station - and the color scheme makes me think it is a Stripes. The building and gas pump canopy are up as are the pumps. It still has a little ways to go yet but is getting there.
nolaboy
Stripes just opened on that corner a few weeks ago. I noticed some construction work starting along the westbound Westpark Tollway feeder, between Peek Rd and Grand Corners. It looks like they are clearing ground for a new strip mall or offices. Does anyone have any info on who the tennents will be? The only info I was able to find is: http://parkwaylakes.com/Welcome.htmlI believe its Tract #7 in the "Available Sites" page. I'm not thrilled about the survey for Tract #7 mentioning apartments on the NW corner of Peek and Westpark (see upper right corner of Page 1): http://parkwaylakes.com/Available_Sites_files/Parkway_Lakes_Marketing_Tract%237.pdf I also noticed that the survey for Tract #2 shows an Academy and Lowe's just south of Wal-Mart: http://parkwaylakes.com/Available_Sites_files/Parkway_Lakes_Marketing_Tract%232_Embassy.pdf I wish they'd start working on the Chick-Fil-A shown on the map for Bella Terra (see just south of the existing Taco Bell), because the one on Westheimer Parkway is always way too busy: http://www.shopsatbellaterra.com/docs/BT_site_full1.pdf
livincinco
I can't imagine that an Academy is going to go in there after the new one just opened at Spring Green and 1093.

You're right... and I just noticed that the survey is dated June 2009. I would like to see a Lowe's go up out here though.

Gotta figure that one will be in that part of town before too long.

Gotta figure that one will be in that part of town before too long. The NW corner in what was once called the Shoppes at Cinco Ranch is for sale. The original developer sold off the NE corner. The site plan for what was supposed to be phase 2 (NW corner) is no longer part of the picture. A Lowe's may still go in that corner, but for now it is no longer proposed for that corner. http://newregionalplanning.com/properties/single/northwest-corner-of-fm-1093-and-spring-green
