John Portman: Five Decades of Atlanta Architecture

This man, John Portman, took 14 city blocks (Peachstreet area) in Atlanta and over 50 years made it was today. Besides making money, of course, his main focus was for people and the video below is what has become of it. It seems like a pretty cool project. That's some amazing patience. I'm not sure with today's dollars if something like this is even possible anymore. Maybe if someone with vision takes over the Astroworld lot they can do something like this, too.
