Guest danax Posted May 7, 2005 Share Posted May 7, 2005 On Saturday, June 4th the McGee St. to Jenson Dr. section of the East End Trails along the Buffalo Bayou will have a ribbon cutting celebration with Mayor Bill White. Free bike helmets to the 1st 100 kids. Eventually there will be 20 miles of hike and bike trails lining the bayou. Subdude Posted May 9, 2005 Share Posted May 9, 2005 It's great this is officially opened. I stumbled on it a couple months ago. Nice path, except that at that point it dead-ended on both sides, rather than connecting to the streets or other bike paths. I assume that has been corrected.
