marc Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Hey all, i read a sci-fi book a while ago and forgot its name and author. i would like to get it for my collection of Houstonmania. Basically, it is set in the distant future (circa 2500?? i think) in Houston. The cover was an awesome artists concept which combined the H-town DT, MT and UT areas, with a bit of Tron thrown in, added to a more Shanghai look. BUT, one could make out some of the main Blvds. in Houston. Anyway, the book was so-so, but was set in future Houston, so i want it! Humans were competing with computer AI and animals that also have intelligence (specifically apes) that have been hard wired into them. Unfortunately, it was so long ago and i was a teenager, so i barely remember the plot, just that it was set in Houston and had a cool cover. Pretty vague i know. Sorry.
