CandW
I am the VP of a local off-highway vehicle group. We promote the enjoyment of your off highway vehicle in a safe and responsible way. We have several chapters around the Great State of Texas, including one here in Katy. We are a family oriented group that meets the first Friday each month at the Wild Wing Cafe at I-10 and Westgreen Blvd to discuss our next off road outings as well as look at any modifications you have done to your vehicle. We include everything from the average daily driver to the more extreme rigs (trailer queens). We plan at least one day trip (within one hour of Katy) per month and at least one longer trip (multiple hour drives) every 6 weeks to parks around the State. As many may or may not know, we have very little public land to play on, so several property owners have built parks for our use. There are fees involved with most being in the $20 all day access range. If you have a Jeep or other 4 wheel drive vehicle and want to learn more about it or would like to learn how to modify it to get the most it has to offer, we would love for you to stop in and introduce yourself. The club is FREE and there is NO obligation other than safe wheeling and pack it in pack it out when on the trails. Here is a link to our chapters website and a link to our forum where we all exchange ideas and let each other know what is going on for the month. http://katy.tx4wd.org/index.htmhttp://forum.tx4wd.orgSee you on the trails soon!
