slyk Posted July 27, 2008 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Any of you B/CS people 40+ in age remember the names of some of the restaurants that was near the old Weingartens grocery store? IIRC it was a square to rectangle building, sat between Texas ave and South Main, had glass entry door(s), had steps you had to go up to get to the door. One set of doors faced the tracks. I don't really remember what type of food/beverage they served, it might've even had a saloon type atmosphere. Time era would've been the 70's? Every time I go through that area I try to figure out more about where it may have been.Yea I know about the Wyatt's Cafeteria bldg, thats not it.
