The new owners have graciously allowed Historic Houston to reclaim interior items that could not be retained when the building is redeveloped. Historic Houston's Salvage Warehouse at 1307 W. Clay will be opened this Saturday, March 19th from 10-3pm. Please come by and see the interesting items reclaimed from the Plaza Hotel as well as all of the other new material we have gotten in since the first of the year!! We currently have over 9,000 sq. ft. of 2 1/4" oak flooring along with 3000 sq. ft.of long leaf pine flooring, light fixtures, sinks, several mantels, interior and exterior doors and numerous interesting architectural pieces.
