TJones
Yep, I can remember taking road trips to Garner State Park, New Braunsfel. We'd cruise FM146 in Baytown and back in the 80's lower Westheimer was the real cruise.
rps324
North Oaks center, (it was actually a small mall back then), at the corner of 1960 and Veteran's Memorial used to be a HUGE cruising spot back in the 80's. People would drive back and forth showing off their cars, their stereos, etc. Why and how on earth that spot developed into that I will never know. TJones
Well, there is a really good spot to show off your car these days. it's on Spring Cypress at Champion Forest Dr., I think. in the Randall's parking lot. No less than about $3million in cars there on a Saturday night.
Montrose1100
Its a shame. Its so much cheaper to fly to closer destinations then it is to drive now. Good thing I turned in my suv for a car... Driving to Colorado last Spring Break was one of the most expensive trips I've ever taken.
Talbot
When I was in highschool (not very long ago) my friends and I would just drive around to drive. But now, we hardly ever do that.
