ricco67
Even though Tim Conway (as usual) steals the scene, he's a trooper and plays the straightman....almost: Edited May 30, 2008 by ricco67
Vertigo58
You could really see the difference in his personality and demeanor in the last few years of his life. Perhaps he already had a stroke or something I am not sure. He was certainly one of the funniest TV variety personalities in the "Golden Age" of television. You can bet Carol and the rest of the gang are clearly devasted, and understandably so. I am glad I bought the series of best of Carol Burnett DVD's that high light this comedian's brillance. His timing and zanniness is what made that team work so well. These guys were light years ahead of all the Seinfeld's and others we have today. They were true trail blazer's in the field. Watch these DVD's and not only does it bring back great childhood memories it has captures his talent forever on film. Ok now I'm getting all choked up again. This is one of the most outrageous character bits he ever did! My ribs hurt I'm tellin ya.
TJones
I thought one of the funniest moments in Television history was when Conway had him crackin' up "LIVE" during a Carol Burnett show skit. Harvey couldn't hold it together, classic TV.
