oldtimer Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 I took this pic from my truck window last week on Perry near Grant. Apartments going up on his land nearby. Quote
plumber2 Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Coyotes have been spotted recently in a Galveston neighborhood according to a Daily News article yesterday. Quote

mrfootball Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 (edited) At first I thought that was roadkill, but it appears to be still alive? Was he injured? Looks to be pretty well-fed.BTW, there are/were Coyotes all over the place here. They and the other nature that still resides in the area use the creekbeds to travel.Poor guy is losing his habitat. Original Timmy Chan's Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I used to hear the coyotes howl all the time at my grandpa's place near North Zulch (Grimes County) when I was a kid...I haven't heard one there for decades. Quote
crunchtastic Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 It's been quite a long time since coyotes came out of the country and into human habitats. But you should worry if you see a chupacabra. Bad news. Quote
Mark F. Barnes Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 We got them bad up here south of Montgomery off of FM149. Have seen several foxes also. But the coyotes run in packs around here. Quote
cynative Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 We have coyotes off Mueschke Rd close to 290. Last time I heard them was probably about 4 weeks ago. It is getting less often though. They have had several of our barn cats for dinner over the years. Quote
cnote Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 (edited) In-Laws have Coyotes south of the Woodlands in Harris County near FM 2978 real bad. They are active right now and were howling last night. They have lost 3 cats to them over the last few years.Edit: Typo Edited February 18, 2008 by cnote Quote
