wakester Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Does anyone know what they are doing along 290 East between Huffmeister and 1960? Not sure if they are connecting the access road or adding another lane (exit lane to 1960) or both? They really need to do something there. Quote

CDeb Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 wakester is referring to the work being done on the right shoulder of southbound 290 between the Huffmeister on-ramp and the FM 1960 exit ramp, continuing down the right shoulder of the FM 1960 entrance ramp, and then up the FM 1960 entrance ramp. There is also work being done on the shoulder of the northbound frontage road just south of FM 1960. I'm not sure what they're doing there, but I'll take a closer look next time I'm in the area. They could be adding lanes, as congestion from the FM 1960/US290 intersection frequently backs up onto the main lanes. Quote
